The Friends of Lake View Hill Park was formed in 2005 after decades of effort by neighbors and concerned citizens to “save the hill” and preserve this woodland and historic treasure. We are part of the Dane County Parks Friends program and work in partnership with Parks as well as Dane County Human Services.
The Friends organizes and convenes activities year round, including ecological restoration work projects, educational events, and seasonal events with the Lake View Neighborhood Association. We also have developed partnerships with area schools, scout troops, churches and youth groups.
